Round farmhouse mirror styles

Round mirrors are the core of the range. Carved bead trim is the classic farmhouse detail, and other frames have a scalloped edge, a wavy whitewash rim, ribbed fluting, a woven texture or metal rivets for an industrial touch. Finishes include natural, distressed natural, off-white, white, whitewash and walnut brown.

Farmhouse bathroom mirror and vanity sizing

Over a bathroom vanity, choose a mirror a few inches narrower than the vanity and hang its center about 60 to 65 inches from the floor. The 23.62 inch circles suit a single sink or powder room, 27.56 to 31.5 inch mirrors suit a 36 to 48 inch vanity, and the 35.43 inch circles fill a wall above a double vanity, console or sofa.

Arched farmhouse mirror options

Arched mirrors draw the eye upward, which helps under a low ceiling. Choose a 20 by 30 inch or 24 by 36 inch beaded arch with a solid wood frame, or a 23.62 by 35.43 inch arch with a plain wood frame in a natural finish. The taller arches double as dressing mirrors.

Farmhouse wall mirror and standing mirrors

For a full-length view, the 72 inch standing mirrors in gray washed oak or black oak rest on the floor with no drilling. Wall mirrors weigh up to about 19 lb, so hang larger ones on a stud or with anchors rated for the weight.

Rustic farmhouse mirrors care

Clean the glass with a microfiber cloth and glass cleaner sprayed on the cloth, not the frame, and dust carved beads with a soft brush. Construction: synthetic wood or MDF frames on most round mirrors, with solid wood frames on select arched and round models.
