The living room is where Two Seventy Nine started, and it is still the center of what we make. Our couches come in two distinct builds, and we keep them separate on purpose. The Fluffy line is a modular sofa system with removable, machine washable couches covers you can unzip and wash at home, in soft chenille and ribbed corduroy. The Hudson and Seneca lines are our boneless couches: frameless memory foam seating that molds to you, in corduroy and velvet. Those two are memory foam and clean by spot treatment, not in the wash.
Between the lines you can build a compact two seat, an oversized couch for a media room, or a full sectional that grows a seat at a time. Add matching ottomans to extend a chaise, serve as an ottoman coffee table, or create a low lounge, and finish with a piece from our coffee tables and benches. Choosing between finishes mostly comes down to texture and light: a chenille surface reads cozy, corduroy reads mid century, velvet reads formal. All three are made to hold up in a room used every day.
