Teak Finish Patio Sets

Acacia patio furniture with a teak finish

The honey-brown tone of teak is the classic look for a deck or garden table, and a teak finish on solid acacia delivers that color for far less than solid teak. Acacia is a dense hardwood that handles outdoor use with basic care. Some sets add an iron or metal frame, rope or wicker weaves, or mesh seats.

Patio dining set sizes in teak finish acacia

A 5-piece dining set seats four, a 7-piece set seats six and a 9-piece set seats eight. Tables come in rectangular, oval and square shapes, some with an umbrella hole, and the extendable tables open from 59.84 to 75.98 inches so four can eat every day and six can join on weekends. Allow about 24 inches of table edge per person and 36 inches behind each chair to pull it out.

Many dining chairs on these sets are rated for 400 lb each. Stackable chairs on select sets tuck away when the table is not in use.

Patio conversation set and outdoor sofa sets

For lounging, choose a 2-piece loveseat set for a balcony, a 3 or 4-piece sofa set for a patio, or a 6-piece sectional set that wraps a fire pit. Most sofa and conversation sets come with cushions in cream, beige, gray, blue, green or red, with covers that resist water and unzip on many models. Rope-weave and slatted designs suit a more open look.

Acacia patio set care in sun and rain

Wipe the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap and let it dry. Cover the set or move it under a roof during long rain, snow or strong summer sun, and bring cushions inside when they are not in use. Refresh the color with an outdoor wood oil once the finish starts to fade, usually once a season.
