This 55.7-inch kitchen island doubles as a folding dining table. It measures 55.75'' wide, 34'' deep and 36.5'' tall with both leaves up, and the light wood-grain top holds up to 400 lbs. Two drop leaves (each 47'' x 8.1'') fold up to seat 4 to 6 or down to slim the island into a console against a wall.

Storage is built for a busy kitchen: three deep drawers, two groove barn-door cabinets with an adjustable interior shelf, and a middle open compartment for items you reach for often. A spice rack and towel rack sit on the side.

A built-in power station adds two AC outlets, one USB port and one Type-C port for small appliances. The island rolls on five wheels, two of them lockable, and the base supports 300 lbs if you leave the wheels off for a stationary setup.
