Blue corduroy is cheerful without being loud, and it covers a practical piece here: a three-seat sofa with a queen-size bed underneath. Guests get a place to sleep, and you keep a sofa the rest of the time.

Draw the frame out a little for a chaise, or the whole way for sleeping. Stabilizing legs and double-reinforced metal tubing keep the bed from tipping. The seat sits 18 inches off the floor and holds 300 pounds per seat.

The corduroy is soft to the touch. Its cushion covers and backrest cover are removable.

Construction: fabric, plywood panels, iron frame and plastic in a blue finish.
