A 12x20 ft gray pergola kit for a big, open frame over the patio, ready for vines to do the shading. The triple-level canopy of beams gives grapes, ivy, passionflower or morning glory extra room to weave through the top, so the shade fills in as the plants grow.

The frame is fir wood with diagonal braces and a three-story beam design. L-shaped metal plates and expansion screws come in the box. It measures 240 inches wide by 144 inches deep and stands 88.5 inches tall, a generous footprint for a backyard or patio.

Construction: solid fir and metal frame.
